My Bio

My interest in clay began when I worked in New York in a design field involving tile projects.  In 1992 I moved my small children and myself to central Virginia and became a stay at home Mom.  It was then that I began to experiment with clay, starting with tiles and expanding to functional ceramics. The dimensional design is my creative signature and was inspired by my architectural design education.

My second love has always been animals; thus, my most recent venture which involves animals.  Two other artists and I have created "Animal Accessories with Attitude" which speaks for itself.  Visit www.aawitha.com to view my latest creations for our furry friends.
